I make Sweet & Sour sauce with pineapple juice or crushed pineapple a little soy sauce and rice vinegar -- no unnatural sugars. Vary the amount of juice and vinegar according to taste / sweetness desired. Fresh juice or crushed seems sweeter than canned. My best, Jay.
