Best tip I can give is to freeze a good quantity of ripe bananas
(peeled first). Of course, whether your blender is capable of
dealing with frozen bananas is another thing

Even the ripest bananas are much less intense in flavour when
frozen, and they help the drink to taste better fo longer. You can
experiment to get the right mix between frozen and non-frozen to
find your 'sweet'-spot

Another idea is to add frozen berries, grapes etc to your banana
smoothies to help the flavour, add nutrients, and make the dring
a little longer-lasting. I also use orange juice, or almond milk
(sometimes both), instead of water

I no longer try to stuff that many bananas in the blender, though I
do make up calories with other additions
