Are you sure this is the appropriate place to post that?

Since Doug is gone from here most of the people are on a diet of grains, potatoes, avocados and B12 injections.

and many of these people are highly regarded scientists with PhD's or MD's.

That's where most people lose sight of what is reality and what is dogma, when it comes to what they eat - nobody wants to change their diet or is willing to accept that it might not be the best one there is.

The starch solution (the title alone speaks volumes) is an example of this. Just throw out logic and ignore the design of our body so you can push your own agenda. Human's have opposed thumbs and see in color so that they can dig up potatoes and boil them in water or find a patch of rice growing and pick ten thousand grains just to get full - when the fruit rots on the trees? Three to five ripe mangoes will fill most up without the heating, sprouting, spending hours bending over to pick rice in ankle deep water, etc. Why don't people see that starches are totally not a food for humans and give fruit a go?

Might not pay the big bucks like starches but at least you can sleep at night.
