I found that fruitbat study interesting as it showed that there is a difference between the conditions in wild and in captivity as far as B12 availability. This is an old paper though and it does not seem it has had any impact on the literature on human diet. No suggestions were made by the authors that the fruitbat diet in wild was completely vegan. On the contrary, it contains some speculations that B12 was obtained by fruitbats in the wild from insects or perhaps contaminated water.
