>>John, is that Fullers original quote or did he steal it and change it? You know the original quote is '' give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and feed him for life ''. I suppose for vegans it would be, "give a man a tomato and feed him for a day, teach him how to grow tomatoes and feed him for life''.<<

Hey BJ,

I see this all the time where it’s obvious where some people get their ideas and they’ve just paraphrased what someone else has already said. In this case, Fuller’s quote makes more sense relative to my special Teaching Tool.

>>It looks like you and I are the only ones who seem to acknowledge that many people nowadays are born with ' weak ' ( as I describe it ) or ' damaged ' ( as you describe ) it bodies.<<

Yea, we’re finally on the same page! :)

>>Where I differ with you is that I look at the world as it is and say '' how can we improve it ? '', whereas you are putting up an ideal that would take us to a place that doesn't exist.<<

In Plato’s “The Republic” on page 231, Socrates said that if the ideal cannot be realized in every detail, it is still worth describing as a standard to aim at.

“Most people who constantly say, ‘Let’s be realistic,’ are really just living in fear, deadly afraid of being disappointed again. ...Great leaders are rarely “realistic”. They are intelligent, and they are accurate, but they are not realistic by other people’s standards.” - Anthony Robbins, “ATGW” p. 81
