That is a very strange way to view the research and your wording.

Lets change the wording, we know there is a direct relationship between vegan diets and b12 deficiency, which as the research has found is caused via low dietary intake.

We know there is a direct relationship between mild hyperhomocystenemia and b12 deficiency, which once again is found in the groups following alternative diets(vegan).

Maybe its my wording that is the problem here, but the studies are fairly clear that vegan diets cause b12 deficiency through low to no intake and that the majority of vegans(78%) were deficient in B12 compared to 0% in the omnivore group, from the last study i linked.
