I realize that you disagree, but this is not what the science states. There are several thousands articles on B12 deficiency, but not one seems to categorically say that veganism causes B12 deficiency. Yes, vegans are at "risk" of B12 deficiency. No, risk does not mean the cause. As a classic example from stats that explains this, summer is a risk factor for drownings, but does not cause it.

Research on B12 is far from being categorical, even on the idea that low B12 causes health problems:

"That is, contrary to a popular belief that undoubtedly fuels a lot of fear amongst vegetarians, to date there is no evidence that low B12 causes cognitive decline, and the scientists are not convinced that it must be low B12 that causes it."
