Can you imagine if it was Robb Wolf or any of the paleo diet authors telling all us all that in order to make the paleo diet work and just to be safe we need vitamin b12, DHA, d2, iron, zinc and all these supplements.

How would it go down ?

Well we know how it went down, many vegans for years have constantly bashed individuals for taking supplements particularly traditional medicinal herbs, superfoods or therapeutic supplements such as TMG, antioxidants etc, which is majorly ironic and laughable considering just how heavily dependant a vegan diet is on a variety of supplementation as mandatory.

This just shows you the hypocrisy and thinking of the average true believer vegan. Its ok for them to supplement, but not you lol.

If a vegan diet was as powerful as they believe, then why can't it even provide all the basic essential nutrients we need to survive ?

Maybe its darwins theory of weeding out the nimrods because if vegans had tried these sort of diets 200+ years ago when we didn't have all these 21st century supplements like b12, then they'd have been wiped out by their malnourished vegan diets not sustaining our health.

It doesn't even come down to the "natural" debate, if vegans stopped going around constantly bragging about how "natural" their diet was, then nobody would point out all these stupid fallacies.

Vegans are also obsessed with constantly comparing themselves to wild animals as justification of whatever eating habit they don't care for, whether thats fresh culinary herbs or juicing plant foods. You hear it all the time, ohh wild animals don't ferment their foods, wild animals don't eat salt, wild animals don't use a juicer, animals don't formally exercise blah blah.

But of course wild animals go pick up some b12 supplements from walmart then make youtube videos afterwards. Or maybe they get into injecting b12 because the supplements often don't work to support healthy levels.

Injecting vitamins should be a normal part of everybodies life. Don't eat a healthy balanced diet kid, inject vitamins instead lol.

The article says all these supplements is a "very small price to pay". Who writes this garbage ? some deluded fad diet trialling teenager, who lives in their parents basement with no concept of bills or work and has all their supplements paid for them ?

Standard vegan supplementation(b12, vitashined3 or d2, DHA etc) will run you anywhere from £20-30+ per person a month. Most likely more than that because microalgaes for DHA alone can run you about £15 a bottle here in the UK for an individuals months worth. Say you have 3-4 family members that your wage needs to take care of, thats about £50 just to supply one nutrient in DHA alone lol. ONE NUTRIENT !!!!!

Absolutely ridiculous.

The vegan society must be under the impression that were all financially flush and that we all have the disposable income to be able to drop £100-200 quid a month on the latest supplements for the family.

Wake up, most people can't barely even afford to put a rounded nutritionally complete fresh plant based diet on the table for their family, which is why so many gravitate to cheap processed junk foods.

How does a family of 4 on welfare afford to go vegan ?

The answer is they can't. Which means there are some very big issues with such diet. Not to mention feeding your child a strict raw vegan diet has shown to result in serious nutritional deficiencies such as ricketts and eventually death.

Its not about bashing, its about living in the real world and looking at ALL of these diets objectively without the rose tinted vegan glasses on.
