Is it ok for a vegan to buy food grown by the animal eating food producers and support and enrich them financially? Every time you switch on the electricity ( or your computer ) you are enriching meat eaters who own almost everything. Same with the clothes you buy, all from meat / animal product eaters. Your money allows them to continue with their ways.

You're what I call ' selective vegans ', not that there is anything wrong with it. In an ideal world most of us on these boards would be 100% raw foodists, but it hasn't worked for a lot of us, but just because we can't be 100% doesn't mean we are evil.

Why does it have to be all or nothing? Better to make some progress than no progress. All some extremes do is turn people off completely. The handful of raw foodists running around are happy to drive cars that were produced by meat eaters, use fuel to pollute the atmosphere produced by meat eaters and are quite willing to give them their money to support their way of life. Sounds a bit hypocritical to me.

Lighten up. Don't be so serious. Do the best you can.
The 80/10/10 has a success rate of less than 1% but you might be one of the lucky 1 per centers.
