Killer Be Known,

You are hyper-focusing on Sproutarian's UT to completely avoid the fact that he is a living breathing example of what Ann Wigmore taught MINUS the UT. Okay, I am not involved in the UT and I am not commenting about it, because I am an herbalist and it's just not something I need to get involved with. Also, the fact is I rarely, if ever, have met anyone face to face on such a clean diet that could even qualify to try. It's just not in my mind and it's not an issue in my learning Ann Wigmore's way from Sproutarian.

The asians eat Natto (fermented soybeans), stinky tofu (fermented tofu), tempeh (fermented soybeans) and fermented black beans. Granted all of these beans are cooked after fermenting. But let's consider Kimchee. One could sprout soybeans with very long tails and make kimchee with them. I am going to try that and report back.

I am not trying to be 100% raw. I am an herbalist and some roots, we must cook in order to make a strong enough tea. Also some things like horsetail should be cooked, because some enzymes are actually deleterious to humans. I don't believe in 100% raw. But I do believe in high raw and if some beans can be eaten raw without side effects, then it's clearly the healthier option. And if some people can be 100% raw and be healthy, then that's the best. But I do think it's sad if a 100% raw fooder would turn down some cooked herbal tea, if their bodies really needed it.
