Subject:         Vegans who eat animal foods ?
Date: October 5, 2014 at 5:05 am PST

We have lots of raw "vegans" who claim to be very strict in following these type of diets and being successful such as Gary(fresh) who posts here, yet they tell us that they "occasionally" eat animal foods.

I was always under the impression being a vegan meant one didn't eat ANY animal foods ?

Just posting this up as the newbies will be reading Gary(fresh's) posts again, where he claims to have been eating this way successfully for decades, challenging people to dispute him.

Yet if you check back Garys(fresh's) posts back at the living food raw support forums, he admits to eating animal foods "occasionally".

I find it odd that you brag as if you never develop these common vegan nutrient deficiencies that people like myself, TSM, Dr Gosia or others warn about, when you are re-supplying these exact nutrients such as vitamin B12 from ANIMAL FOODS, not even vegan supplements like the rest of us did/do. The level of hypocrisy and BS in the raw food movement is off the charts.

A few questions for yourself. Only fair you answer our questions, with how often you challenge us to answer yours.

1. You do realize that vegans don't eat animal foods right ?

2. How do you know 80/10/10 or strict raw fruit diets work if you are needing to occasionally eat animal foods ?

3. Why are you eating animal foods if you believe veganism is the healthiest and ONLY way to eat ?

4. What animal foods are you "occasionally" eating and define occasionally, is it once a day, once a week, once a month ?
