Firstly your anti-fruit propaganda BS doesn't hold up with me.

A. because i eat fruit myself and B. because i believe fruit can be a healthy food for most individuals.

To your points.

1. There are no long term credible examples i can find of healthy strict 100% raw fruit eaters i.e those following a complete fruitarian diet or those eating 80/10/10 or 30 BAD. If you have any examples of healthy raw fruit based eaters then care to share them ?

There are plenty of healthy people who eat fruit, just not fruit based diets.

2. Well you know fine well there are little to no diets done on those following 80/10/10 or fruit based diets, so pulling up clinical evidence is going to be pretty impossible regarding anything positive or negative.

However there is a wealth of clinical research on common vegetarian and vegan diets, which include the same foods such fruit in there diet and the common deficiencies they encounter such as vitamin B12, D, zinc, calcium etc.

We know from basic nutrition that a strict all plant based diet i.e only containing foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds etc fall drastically short of providing complete nutrition.

To flip your question, how about you show us some clinical evidence that these fruit based diets such as 80/10/10 are at least safe for people to follow and nutritionally complete, especially without supplements ?

3. Irrelevant question to me as ive never claimed store bought fruits are bad and its where i source the majority of my own fruit with no problems.

4. Its the quantity of sugar consumed in a typical 80/10/10 diet that is the problem. It is the fact some of these people are eating 200-300+ grams of extra sugar daily to compensate for the low protein and fat intake, yet are completely dumbfounded why they have developed elevated blood fat(triglyceride) levels.

People like yourself band daily to warn us against the effects of high fat, high protein but you seem to have completely forgot the problems associated with high sugar diets. Just because you are sourcing the sugar from a healthy food i.e fruit, doesn't mean you can binge eat excessive amounts of fruit and still be healthy. Especially with such poor nutritional balance that comes with diets such as 80/10/10.
