High blood triglycerides are a common hallmark in low fat raw vegan blood tests, fully raw Kristina definitely isn't the first here to show this and won't be the last.

Kinda ironic to have high blood fat levels when you are purposely eating a low fat or a diet containing no overt fats because you are so scared of dietary fat.

Increased blood triglycerides are a possible factor in the development of heart disease, diabetes/metabolic syndrome and even fatty liver disease. Couple that with vitamin B12 and omega-3 DHA deficiencies, it doesn't look good for vegan diets and the supposed heart health benefits.

However you won't hear vegan "experts" like Dr Greger talking about these common issues which have been proven time and time again from vegan research. He's too busy focusing on the possible carcinogens from smoked meat products to ponder why his glorious vegan diet doesn't even provide basic essential nutrients such as vitamin B12, DHA or even the mineral zinc in the balanced, required quantities. Vitamin B12 deficiency from following vegan diets has also been shown to cause increased homo-cysteine levels, another proven factor in the development of cardiovascular disease.

It couldn't possibly be all the rapidly absorbed simple SUGARS driving those triglycerides up could it ?

"In fact, the American Heart Association reports that young people with high triglyceride levels have a four times greater risk of developing heart disease or having a stroke than young people with normal triglyceride levels"

Raw veganism and 80/10/10 are disaster diets, hopefully this post won't be shot down like in the past when i tried to question Doug's view points about this diet or why certain conditions were contraindicated for long term water fasting.

These people are losing the cardiovascular preventative and other health benefits that high plant based diets have to offer, simply by going too restrictive with their diet i.e veganism or eating in imbalanced ways such as 80/10/10.
