I e-mailed her doctor and he said that she was
not in a fasted state when she did the blood
tests thus the higher triglycerides.

I say:

Now this is good info. Now interestingly enough, l do recall a study saying this is still a problem regardless of whether one is in a fasting state or a non fasting state, but let me double check and find it. I will also post some studies on the dangers of high carb low fat diets for general reading. We know the literature strongly advises against low fat high carb diets, but we could never be sure if this related to fruit diets. Maybe it does for some people and maybe it doesn't...we can't be completely sure YET. I take much interest in this case, but l need to find that study about fasting v's non fasting triglycerides.

What l would like to know is the fatty acid levels of LA/ALA/EPA/DHA. That would be very very interesting.

As for her cholesterol being low The China
Project showed that the general population of
China AS A WHOLE had cholesterol (their highest)
was below American's lowest, meaning it was
around the high 90's and that was where most of
their people are at.

I say:

I say nothing, but l grit my teeth. *wink*

From what I have read, the body can make the amount of cholesterol it needs and when we are not
ingesting any cholesterol n the diet, then the
HDL doesn't need to carry away any excess and LDL
isn't taking it to artery walls to repair damage.

I say:

I say nothing, l just grit my teeth even more. I sound like an old dog gnoring on a bone at the moment with a distorted face.

I've been meditating recently on the whole
numbers game and RDA's and such and finally
realized that the RDA's for my height and build
are for the average sized person and if my
"numbers" come in lower, then that's not
necessarily a bad thing.

I say:

I say nothing, but l grit my teeth to maximum levels and try to pretend l am in a dream and didn't read that. Don't ask me why,l am not going to get started on all of this because l will get carried away and write far too much. *makes noises like l am being choked*

You said:

I am not in denial about her numbers, just
offering another perspective.

I say:

the part about non fasting triglycerides was very valuable.

You said:

I do know that her doctor very much is into scientific studies and you can contact him on Facebook and I'm sure he'd be willing to talk to you.

I say:

maybe, but l have never been into those types of things before. Things like that have never been my scene, but maybe l could think about it and then delete the account. *grinds teeth some more*
