Been watching Lou a lot lately making meals. Personally, the way he eats makes me cringe, but that is probably just me and my unique ideas on meals and food combining.

Lou will blend greens with nut pastes and add garlic and lemon and lots of stuff.

For me, l never mix many foods all togeather. Never blend greens with fruits or nuts. I always strongly believe in layering foods and keeping mixtures very very simple. This gets me best results. If l mix greens with nuts or fruit with greens or seaweeds with nuts etc l always get digestion problems.

Why digestion problems? Is my digestion bad? Well...my digestion is good and can digest beans and grains good, but l don't digest poorly combined food. Might not be strong science behind food combining, but it works for me and when l violate my rules l get problems. It is not mind over matter because l have learned the hard way from experience.

theory = people are so used to poorly combined foods that they are immune from feeling the effects of the poor combinations because they are used to it (eg, smoothies that mix fruit and greens)

seeds and kelp blended = disaster for me

kelp eaten first then followed by seeds = perfect (good layering).

Having to eat so many foods is one go seems way over the top.
