After I learned about insulin resistance, I carefully watched people after they eat. I would see some weaker people feel sleepy after a fruit smoothie. I learned to add raw vegan protein powder to fruit smoothies for such people to lower glycemic value. It helps. Adding protein, like a lot of greens or protein powder will lower glycemic value.

I am an acupuncturist and in Chinese medicine the sweet flavor (earth element) when done to excess overpowers the water element (related to kidneys, bladder, bones, brain, etc). Chinese medicine and five element believers would not split hairs over a blood test with your symptoms. They simply would cut back on the sweet stuff. Unless the grapes are dark-seeded grapes with tartness, grapes are usually too sweet to eat by themselves. Same with bananas. If you make a fruit salad and mix sour and tart fruits with the sweet fruits, it's okay, but you will still need protein added, like chia seed (presoaked or sprouted) or protein powder, if you have insulin resistance.

THe fruit bats that can eat a ton of bananas with no problems don't have blood sugar problems. It comes down to a person's constitution and that doesn't change much. I used to have blood sugar problems until I practiced qigong and that problem went away, but I put a ton of hours into my practice. That is not practical for most people.

Accept your unique constitution and slowly over time find out what works for you. No two people are the same.

Lou corona and Ann wigmore are famous for making nut/seed yogurt, which is very easily digested food. Lou Corona will not eat raw nuts unless they have been sprouted and cultured. Raw nuts are too hard to digest. When you want a raw calorie source, try the seed yogurt. Wild rice is another calorie source that u can sprout and culture a bit. Anyway, there are other things besides very sweet fruit to eat raw.

What are you eating that has choline in it?
