I will never understand high fruit diets. Most fruit is not fresh straight off the tree so it is prone to post harvest deterioration, and given it is low nutrient and not properly tree ripened it is a highly unbalanced starvation diet imo.

Fruit is o.k for a snack IF it is ripe and straight from the tree only.

I grew up with fruit trees all around me so l know what is ripe fruit, and l can say that almost all fruit available in organic shops and farmers markets is not properly ripe. Farmers admit this and Brian Clement has said the same thing, it is the nature of how much fruit grows on the tree and is also a victim of profit motives for from a mass food delivery system.

The failure for many to thrive on much of this dead unbalanced food does not surprise me at all. Gabriel Coisens says picked fruit will lose much of it's energy after 2 - 3 days, and Brian Clement says it is next to useless after 2 - 3 weeks and will kill you. And yes, we see many people living lkargely on fruit who are literally killing themselves and they bomb out.

The people who do well on fruit diets are the exception to the rule. The high fruit diet might be hard, but hardly anyone can live like that, so if people are having trouble l would suggest being open to other ideas. If they are set on a high fruit diet then that is their decision, but it is good to look at different opotions given the lousy reputation of the massive failure of people to thrive on high fruit diets.

We want lots of good protective foods that are FRESH. Science states that fruit is less protective against disease compared with beans and greens. In this day and age with all the assaults against our DNA we want the super powerful protection of the phytochemicals most abundant in sprouts. Some of these phytochemical antioxidants are up 10 - 100 times more abundant in sprouts when compared with dark green vegetables, and when these vegetables are 7 days old (been in storage for a week) they have lost up to 80% of some of these highly potent phytochemcials. The post harvest science is devastating against the idea of any store bought fruits and vegetables, and it is a whole lot worse than we think because the testing hasn't measured all the thousands of nutrients in the foods.

Some people have low nutrient needs and do well on high carb, most don't seem too. Like Dr Clement said, these diets consisting of store bought fruoits and vegetables will kill most people, and when people quickly bomb out it is the process of death beginning it's course because people are starving and not getting the life force, balance and nutrition to run the body.

I am not here to argue, l am just stating my beliefs here. I know you and others will be strictly opposed to my ideas and l am cool with that.
