I have read a peer reviewed meta analysis of 113 studies done on fructose and can say that l have come across nothing indicating that fructose is as dangerous as some people say it is IF we exercise. Fructose is said to contribute to a number of problems but the science isn't conclusive.

Stance 1

Now...lets talk about Dr clement's and Dr Morse views regarding cancer and fruit. Dr C says the cancer feeds off the fruit sugar (many doctors claim that) and that Eydie Mae Hunsberger wrote a book apparently explaining how her tumors would grow every summer when she ate the high fructose dates and the tumors would go away when she stopped eating all the sweet fruit.

Stance 2

Dr Morse says (I think) the body makes longer term adjustments so the body will not continue to grow cancers/tumors from fruit sugars.

My stance

If a person has stage 4 cancer or a tumor which is life threatening, their body may not have the time to make the adjustment to the fruit sugar (stance 2), so all fruit should be stopped until that person is no longer in a life threatening position. To me this is common sense.

Here is Dr Coisens' view on high fruit consumption:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZaK2xj__xg

He mentions fructose being associated with inflammation of the glial cells of the brain, but associations don't neccessarily mean it will happen because lots of strategies can be employed to reduce imflammation.

It's all interesting stuff that we don't want to write off until we have studied this extensively. There is still a lot we don't know so we should keep an open mind on the subject.
