I agree that a lot of people are hating on Brian and there is a lot to learn from him if the differences are put aside (just like ANY guru). As far as fasting goes I do agree that short water or green fasts are by far safer. But they most likley are not nearly as effective in healing a more major issue in the body.

Would a medical supervised fast cover the mineral dificiency issue and end the fast before a dificiency was seen? Does durianrider know for certain that these peoples issues where mineral dificiencies or is that just speculation? How could we know they where low in electrolytes if they where not medical fasting to even be tested? Are there more simple urine tests anyone can take to see the amount of minerals being excreted if not at a med-fasting retreat? Can a short dry fast be more effective since it seems to do more in less time without flushing minerals out with water? Could a dry fast be monitored using advanced impedance devices that can see exactly how much water the body has to make sure there is no risk of dehyration?
