Yes, sprouted legumes will give gas, but in my experience we can fix this problem when we employ certain stategies in the diet and build the body up to a level where we can improve our digestion.

One thing we can do is consume brown seaweeds to chelate certain indigestable proteins and we can also take a probiotic/ferment over many months. In my experience this will greatly eliminate gas. In fact, l went on a 100% fermented 100% highly acid diet for four months straight and I now have the best digestion i've had since a young boy. No more sprouted legumes causing digestive issues, but for the good digestion to continue we still must do ferments on a regular basis to keep everything ship shape.

Many websites and books blame oligosaccharide sugars for the gas, but this is not the case because scientists have removed those sugars from the sprouted legume and still found that they cause gas. They concluded it is an X factor undiscovered as yet.
