I just use mason jars with mesh lids. It's all pretty inexpensive. I have an expensive automatic sprouter that I never use because the plastic turns me off and I would rather sprout in glass jars. Wish I realized how I felt about it before I bought it.

I grow wheatgrass outside in trays. The whole operation is not expensive. I actually have my gardener prepare the trays for me, so it's not so much work for me. I personally am going to use chia pets to grow the chia sprouts
