Haven't all the raw food gurus fallen into this trap? the trap of giving advice without any scientific evidence?

I know it sounds logical. Eat less calories and one will lose weight.

But on what basis are you giving that recommendation/advice? Are you licensed nutritionist? Are you factoring in the individual's medical condition/history? Are you factoring that by eating less he/she might also be compromising on 'nutritious foods' and losing propoer nutrition in the process? What if the individual hass an eating disorder? what if the individual feels better eating less andd then decides to fast periodically?

I mean there could be so many ifs and buts and I know you cannot factor everything in.

BUT WHY GIVE advice like every other self nominated raw food guru and charlatan?

I know this is a support group but the way people recommend and give advice it seems like it is coming from experts who have spent years doing scientific study, trials, research whicch is definitely not the case.

Time for me to make a recommendation - I recommend everyone who wishes to give nutrition advice highlight if he/she has the license to do so. If not, STOP.
