Dr. D, I am determined to do this but I haven't got it dialed in yet. I am struggling to stick to the 811 diet. My goal is health and weight loss but I'm fighting two major setbacks. The biggest one is cravings for alcohol... is this just a different kind of sugar craving? Anyway to kick it??? The other one is fatty foods that usually come up when I'm out with friends on the weekend who don't eat 811 or when I'm hungry. I seem to stick to it for 4 days in a row then go off for a few days then I get back on... which leads me to believe I may be lacking some balance in the diet. Also, I'm 38 and I have about 30+ pounds to drop (mostly around my mid section) and seem to be struggling with that as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. PS - I've already read the book once and loved it and it makes total sense but still struggling. Thanks, David.
