Tomorrow at about 2.30 in the afternoon I have a small school run triathlon. Its something like a 800m swim. 10k Bike Ride followed by a 3k run. I've been 811 for about 6 months with, of-course, huge improvements in all areas of my life. I've regained my love for sport and moving and am getting better at it each day. Typically the Triathlon is to be run by individuals performing a separate leg. My questions are: How should I eat tomorrow? The school is also giving us an earlier lunch than normal (and a longer one too) as an opportunity for people to munch on their choice lunch before competing..Is a whole watermelon a good breakfast? With maybe some Watermelon juice for during the event. Followed immediately with a lunch of bananas after I've finished competing? Am I thinking right? or is such a late lunch pointless? I do have an oppurtunity to eat at about 11 if thats at all beneficial. Ps: I know you guys probably run this everyday, but I beg your empathy and wisdom :)
