Dr. Graham who leads the raw forum here is very adamant about there being plenty of protein in fruits and veggies. You really don't need heavy foods at all. What you're looking for isn't protein anyway; it's amino acids. A big principle you learn when you go veg is that large amounts of protein is very overrated; NOBODY in this county has a deficiency of protein! On the other hand, hundreds of diseases are caused by excessive protein. My personal diet is mostly fruits and veggies, I say don't worry about it!
