One of my two children is 7 months old and exclusively breast fed. Through process of elimination and some horrible nights, I've discovered that she has a painfully sensitive tummy and if I eat onion (or onion products), garlic, beans, broccoli, cauliflower or any of the standard 'gassy' foods, she spends the next 12-24 hours screaming and barfing. My hope is that she'll eventually outgrow this, but worst case scenario, I'm looking at another year minimum of avoiding those foods, as I'm a dedicated (militant) breast feeder (my first child weaned at 2 yrs). How do I manage a vegetarian diet while avoiding all of those foods which seem a staple to the lifestyle?

Thanks so much for any help.
