Hey Liz,
I wonder if she's going through a growth spurt. when they do this, it seems like they're nursing all the time and they're never satisfied. It wont be like that forever though...if you let her nurse frequently and whenever she seems hungry, your body will realize that it needs to make more milk to keep up with her demands, and soon she wont need to nurse as much. You need to be careful to not supplement during these times because then your body wont realize that it needs to make more milk. If it is a supply problem and you do need to supplement, look into getting a Supplemental Nursing System (SNS), that way she latches onto to you and gives you the stimulation you need to signal to your body that it needs to produce more milk, but she's getting something through the sns.
here's some good info on sns and some other options..

Also, here's a link that talks about fenugreek and other things you can do to boost your supply...

I'm not sure where Jennifer is...maybe she'll have better advice for you! I wonder how prednisone effects milk supply. I really couldn't find anything online about it. When's the last time her levels were checked? Are you sure she's on the right dose now??
Hope things start getting better for you :)
talk to you later
Kristy
