Hi. I am tandem nursing my 3 year old and my 1 year old. On the side that my 3 year old nurses on (they each have their own) there are two "ring" shaped reddish rashes that are growing in diameter each day (on the areola). Each ring has one of those bumpy gland things at the center. The "rashes" are dry and scaley as is the nipple which is now cracked. So is this thrush? Could it be ringworm? (I do work in an animal hospital).
How could I have gotten thrush with no antibiotics, a vegan diet, and nursing with no problems for 3.5 years????
Appreciate any advice. Thanks!
