We are in SW MI. Believe me, there are no deaf (children, esp.) here! VERY discouraging....he does make friends w/hearing children (the only choice this little social butterfly of mine has), but its not the same, I know. In our previous location, we were involved somewhat in the Deaf school. But the one here is 3 hrs. away! We keep looking for opportunities and attend the rare ones that we find, but I just tho't maybe someone would have something else to suggest that I am just not thinking of. Thanks so much for your response, Sunshine!
