I am trying to get my artwork and writing out into the world so I can use that for some income. If you do any crafting you can try posting items on Etsy. Some people make some money by scouring thrift stores and selling stuff on Half.com or on Ebay. I've made a *little* money that way but not enough to live off of.

How are you paying for school? I have been working on applying for scholarships and grants through Fastweb.com and from scholarship books at the library. So far I haven't heard back from any yet but I've only just started applying in the last few months.

Can do you any childcare at home? Even just one or two kids? Can you take kids at night for people who work night shift in hospitals or as cops or firefighters? To take in kids overnight you'd have to have space for beds or cots though...but you could charge a bit more because it is overnight.
