4. HSing method - Eclectic. We've tried CLASS, SOS, and others...my high schoolers are using American School of Correspondence which is what I also used to graduate at age 16.

5. Your Occupation - Webmaster. I'm currently working away from home at an Outdoor Sports company, but am hoping to work into a stay-at-home position in the spring. I will eventually freelance.

6. What color socks are you wearing right now? Socks?? You kidding? This is Florida and it's 80 degrees outside. ;-)

8. ONE sentence about why you homeschool - I want my children to know HOW to learn. If we teach them how to learn they can learn anything they want and it's not limited to what we know or what is offered in their curriculum. (Oops, two sentences!)

9. ONE resource you find invaluable in homeschooling - The internet. We live WAY in the woods and don't have easy access to libraries, etc.

10. What was the last movie you saw IN A THEATER? Was probably Ratatoille.

11. What color is your hair? Salt and Pepper

12. ONE sentence about the biggest challenge in HSing and being a single parent - As a single home schooler, I find it difficult being the "dictator". In a functional family, the children see the parents as a unified front and I think it's not so personal to the children...like when I make an unpopular decision. (Oops, that was two sentences again!)

13. List a talent that would surprise us - I learned to weld when I took VoAg in high school.

14. The last thing you ate? Popcorn last night...unless frappuccino counts for breakfast?

15. What is your child's passion right now? My oldest is striving to finish high school so she can get a job to support her car. My son is a Life Scout and is working passionately on earning Eagle. The two little girls Just want to spend more time skating and want to find more pets to drag home.

16. What is your passion right now? My main passion (outside of serving God which is like breathing) is to see to it that my children have a healthy environment in which to thrive.
