I, too, adopted two babies who are now 19 and 20. I used the Lact-aid system (which I am SURE is much more refined by now!)
I did it for the "bonding" experience for both baby and me. I remain VERY close to both my daughter and son. I stuck with it for 6 weeks and wouldn't change a thing.
If you are thinking of doing this, find support. I called the Le Leche League, who sometimes (in my humble opinion) are a bit over the top, BUT they really helped me through this.
I just wanted to give my two cents on what this woman (I don't know her - the ad just caught my eye) is selling. It is a good deal and 20 years ago, I would have been her first customer!
I'm no expert, but would be glad to lend support to anyone considering nursing an adopted newborn.
