2010 Healthy Lifestyle Expo Tickets On Sale!

You are receiving this email because you attended the 2009 Healthy Lifestyle Expo. We are putting tickets on sale today, and emailing last year's guest list to give you first crack at getting tickets for 2010. It will be held at the same place as last year, the Warner Marriott in Woodland Hills, CA. Dates are Fri night through Sunday afternoon, October 15-17, 2010. This year we are allowing people to reserve seats in the first two rows, for an additional charge, for those who would like to sit close but don't want to get there early to try to grab a seat. We have a number of your favorites coming back this year, and some great new speakers as well. We'll be posting the full speaking schedule soon, but for the moment know that we're going to have a great event with the latest, most cutting edge health information. We got great feedback on the meals last year, and will be tweaking to provide even more greens and whole grains, everything with no oil or added fats. We'll also be expanding the cooking demo segment a little and offering even more practical materials to take home and use in your own kitchen. It's going to be an amazing weekend! Sabrina and I want to thank all of you for coming and making it a memorable and successful EXPO weekend! Healthy Lifestyle EXPO -- UPDATE

We're just two days away from the kickoff of our EXPO weekend! A few reminders: <ol> <li>Your weekend badge will be waiting for you at the EXPO Registration, which opens at 4 pm on Friday. Go to the ballroom area and you will see our Registration desk. </li><li>If you are just coming for one day, please come 1/2 hour before the starting hour to allow time to pick up your badge. </li><li>The hotel can accommodate only 50 people for the special vegan SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER BUFFET.</li></ol> Marriott has given us reservation tickets to hand out first come, first served, for people who want to eat the Fuhrman-provided menu for the Saturday night dinner. You can ask at Expo Registration Friday, starting at 4 pm, for a Saturday dinner reservation ticket, and we will hand them out until we run out. The hotel has other dinner events going on Saturday night and said they could only accommodate 50 people for our special Dr. Fuhrman menu. Sorry! 4) RECIPES: We have received requests to know the recipes for the weekend meals. If you are driving to the EXPO, you can self park your car during the day at the hotel for $6 per day. After parking, purchase an event parking pass at Valet Stand. (If you are driving to and staying over night at the hotel, a different charge may apply.) Dear Expo Guest: We are looking forward to seeing you next weekend at the Healthy Lifestyle Expo 2009! Remember that -- it's better to pay the grocer than the doctor! On next Friday, October 16, registration for the full weekend and/or the Friday-night-only ticket holders -- opens at 4 pm, in the ballroom area of the Warner Center Marriott. Please check in at Registration between 4 pm and 6 pm, where you will receive a badge and information about the weekend. Dinner begins at 6 pm, so please have your badge and be ready to enter the ballroom at that time. After dinner, some entertainment, and opening remarks, we will hear keynote speaker and firefighter Rip Esselstyn set fire to the rest of the evening. Dinner Friday night and both buffet lunches available Saturday and Sunday are from recipes provided by Joel Fuhrman MD. In addition, the hotel has offered to do a Fuhrman-style buffet on Saturday night, if there is enough interest. In order to do this, they need at least 50 people who would want it -- so if you think you would be interested in having the hotel's vegan buffet Saturday night - PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL AND LET US KNOW. If we get enough "YES, I'M INTERESTED" responses to this email, we will alert the hotel and they will put on the vegan buffet Saturday night. If not, then everyone will make their own way for dinner on Saturday night.
