Dear VegSource Reader,
Low carb diet proponents make a lot of money selling books promoting meat and dairy.
These "experts" say you can lose a ton of weight and keep it off for life -- by eating lots of meat and avoiding carbs.
Their diets have names like "The Paleo Diet," "The Atkins Diet," "The Zone Diet," "The Wheat Belly Diet," and "Eat Fat, Lose Fat."
These authors are vehemently opposed to plant-based diets because, they assert, veg diets will make you fat and unhealthy!
So these anti-vegetarian, meat-pushing authors themselves probably are pretty slim and fit, wouldn't you expect?
Reality might surprise you. (Or it might not...)
