Jeff & PennyDear VegSource Reader,

We have some really interesting stories for you today.

First, John McDougall MD has written an incisive -- and truly amazing -- article about the cause of death of Apple founder Steve Jobs.

And what was the cause?

Very strong medical evidence points to Jobs' teen job working at Hewlett Packard and being exposed to dangerous metals and other substances used in making electronics, known to cause pancreatic cancer. Jobs' vegan diet very likely extended his life, and his decision to delay surgery -- something he apparently regretted -- it turns his delay had no impact on whether or not he might have survived.

Read this incisive piece on Steve Jobs from Dr. McDougall, who carefully put together the evidence:

Wolves being rescued from Alaska this week -- care to help?

This group rescues Alaskan wolves which have been scheduled to be destroyed. They bring the wolves to a California sanctuary, and then they bring veterans to the sanctuary, veterans who have just returned from Iraq and Afghanistan and who are suffering from PTSD and other problems.

They put the wolves and the vets together, and what happens is truly beautiful, for both of them. A man and a wolf, both tramautized and needing to learn to trust again, help each other.

It's a story about some wonderful and unexpected work being done.

The wolf sanctuary is looking for support -- care to "adopt" a wolf from new group being picked up from Alaska later this week?

Peas & Love,
Jeff and Sabrina
