Jonathan Safran Foer recently appeared on ELLEN
to talk about his new book, EATING ANIMALS.

In this excerpt he talks about which foods are most
unhealthy and most cruel, then gives us all an education
about the turkeys served up across the land this month,
and what the lives of those poor, drug-injected animals
are really like.

This guy is fascinating, and it gives hope to see someone
this articulate and thoughtful getting on a major talk show
and being able to talk about this subject:
